Job description: Registered Massage Therapist – Part Time

Pay: $80/Hr

Work Location: In person

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to tailor treatments to their individual needs. Looking for a reliable therapist, who is willing to learn new techniques from our experienced Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopath.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage based on client preferences and needs.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their medical history and specific concerns.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in client records, noting any changes in condition or progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• RMT designation 2200 Hrs. Experience with Jane Application.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to facilitate effective communication with clients regarding their health conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
