This Black History Month, our Vicars Giving Clinic will support Ribbon Rouge, an organization dedicated to advancing health equity in marginalized communities. You can take part by booking a massage appointment for February 22 in Edmonton or February 20 in Calgary.Â
All proceeds from student massages on these dates will be donated to Ribbon Rouge.
About the Ribbon Rouge Foundation
Ribbon Rouge is a grassroots Alberta organization that uses research, policies, storytelling, community arts, and meaningful conversations to advocate for social justice and challenge racialized health disparities. Through the power of the arts, they amplify the voices of those affected by systemic health inequities, particularly at the intersections of race and gender. Their work educates the public, changes perceptions, and fosters lasting social change. Ribbon Rouge was founded in 2006 at the University of Alberta.

What Are Vicars Giving Clinics?
Vicars Giving Clinics are our way of giving back. Each month, we dedicate one student clinic day in Edmonton and one in Calgary to a cause that aligns with our values. On these days, 100% of student massage fees are donated to the chosen organization. We schedule Giving Clinics on high-demand days to maximize the impact of our donations.
