At Vicars, you choose your own schedule: immerse yourself in a Monthly intensive or build skills with a steady Weekly class. No matter which path you choose, you will receive the same high-standard, CMTCA-accredited training.Â
We are now accepting applications for our Spring and Fall classes. Spring classes begin in March 2027; fall classes begin in September 2027.

You deserve a massage therapy education that meets Canada’s highest national standards, and you deserve to get it on your own terms. Which of our scheduling options works best for you?
Each class includes the same amount of hands-on, on-campus training: four days in class each month, plus your supervised practicum training at our on-site clinic.
Once a month
schedule 1
The Monthly class meets four days in a row (usually Thursday-Sunday) with an average of four weeks of independent study work between sessions. This class is very popular for students who have to travel a long distance to campus, because they can get a full-time massage therapy education without having to relocate!
You’ll also be responsible for completing your practicum at our on-site massage clinic. These shifts will begin halfway through first year and continue until you graduate. Our clinic is open all week and a wide variety of daytime and evening shifts are available for your convenience.
Once out-of-town students are ready to work in our public clinics, they usually arrange to extend their time in Edmonton or Calgary to allow for that month’s suggested number of shifts as well as the four days of class time. Monthly students living locally have more flexibility to book their class shifts.
One day a week

The Weekly class meets on campus for one full day every week on a set schedule. Students who live close enough to commute to the school every week and who are able to take time off or get childcare during the week really like this option.
You’ll also be responsible for completing your practicum at our on-site massage clinic. These shifts will begin halfway through first year and continue until you graduate. Our clinics are open all week and a wide variety of daytime and evening shifts are available.
