About our Calgary massage school location
We designed our Calgary campus to be the kind of space that we would want to learn in. It’s bright, comfortable, and stocked with high-quality equipment and furnishings.
It’s located in a modern professional building that has plenty of natural light and convenient free parking. We have three teaching and treatment spaces in the building. Each space has everything we need for both our students and clinic clients. Our classrooms are equipped to be both a hands-on massage “lab” as well as a comfortable lecture space: professional-quality massage tables, privacy curtains, handwashing stations, laundry facilities, and everything else a modern massage therapy student needs. Our students also enjoy our welcoming lounge and kitchen areas. These areas make our Calgary campus truly a home away from home for our students. This is really important to us, because so many of our students travel long distances to attend our blended-learning classes.
When you visit us for a massage at our student clinic, you’ll appreciate the free parking, accessible building features, spacious waiting area, and calming treatment spaces.

The Land We're On
The Calgary campus of Vicars School is located on Treaty 7 Territory. This land is the traditional home of many First Nations, including the Tsuut’ina First Nation, Stoney Nakoda, and the nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy, and is a part of Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3.
Vicars School students, staff, and clients come from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. What brings us together is a shared dedication to healing and wellness. We believe that participating in the ongoing work of Truth and Reconciliation is an integral part of that mission.
What massage therapy courses are offered in Calgary
Our campus in Calgary offers all of our two-year massage therapy diploma courses. Our massage therapy diploma program is delivered through blended learning education. Our students spend four days on campus each month, plus shifts at our student clinic. The rest of their full-time massage therapy training is delivered online. That’s why students travel from all over western Canada to attend Vicars School. That, and because our program is fully accredited by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation, meaning that it meets the country’s highest massage therapy education standards. Our grads are in demand from employers and clients wherever they go; you can find Vicars RMTs all across Canada.
The massage therapy diploma program covers everything you need to be a successful and effective registered massage therapist. In addition to the hands-on techniques required to perform relaxation massage, sports massage, and therapeutic massage treatments, we teach anatomy and physiology, massage theory, ethics, biomechanics, orthopedic assessment, treatment planning, remedial exercise, and business skills.
Our Calgary campus also has a massage therapy clinic that’s open to the public. Our student clinic is open year-round. Your one-hour massage will be performed by a student under the supervision of our experienced faculty, ensuring you receive high-quality care while helping students gain real-world experience.
We also offer an introductory course called “Massage for Beginners.” This is a two-day workshop, taught by Vicars faculty, that’s ideal for people who want to learn a new skill. It’s also very popular with people who are interested in beginning a massage career but want to try it out before committing to the full program.

But don’t take our word for it! Vicars School has full accreditation status from the CMTCA, the body that examines and approves massage therapy programs in Canada.
We earned their highest rating—five-year accreditation—which is something that no other private college has achieved in Alberta.
