Blessed Hands Massage Therapy Inc. is looking for Massage Therapists for their clinic which is operated from the Whitemud Business Park, Edmonton

EDUCATION: University Certificate/ Diploma from a 1 to 2-year program.

EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years, 2200 + Hours, New grads are welcome.

LICENCE/ REGISTRATION: With recognized association in good standing (MTTA, CMMOTA, NHPC, CRMTA)

REQUIREMENTS: Criminal Record Check, E&OE Insurance, Valid first Aid certification.

TASKS: Administer massage techniques through soft-tissue including muscles, tendons, ligaments – to assist healing, manipulation, Relaxation techniques, Trigger point therapy, Lower grade mobilizations, apply finger, hand pressure to specific body points. Assessment of clients and conduct ROM to determine treatment plan. Maintain records of treatment given. Perform necessary documentation such as SOAP Notes, assist office duties, change linens between appointments, manage laundry needs of the clinic during the shifts.

WORK CONDITIONS: Physically demanding, standing for extended hours.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday and Saturday 8.30 am to 8.30 pm

Part time/ Casual

COMPENSATION: As per experience. (55 to 60%)
